"Ole' Fish" Queen Trigger Fish

On a fishing afternoon, we caught several fishes (for dinner). but the beauty of this fish saved it from being cooked unto our plates that day! a species of concern identified here in Belize (IUCN - vulnerable), as it is fished for being a delicacy and attracting tourism.

This specimen was kept for a while in the batch of fished dinner, but was then released back into the sea as we had enough smaller schoolmaster fish and Red Hind fish.
