Description:

Two female deer showed up in my friend's yard, a mother & fawn daughter. They were enjoying the newly sprouted grass shoots that appeared after a spring rain.

Habitat:

High desert region of CA as well as forest habitat.

I noticed exactly similar looking Deers but they had black tails! I am waiting to spot a white tailed one!
