Field Notes

Description:

Texas coral, eating a rat snake.

Habitat:

Falcon Head Golf course

Notes:

One of the biggest Corals, I've ever seen!
She was left alone to finish her meal.

3 1/2 to 4ft long Coral snakes are not uncommon in this area! Actually, out of the 15 or so I've personally found, only two were under 30 inches.

Incredible shot Dragunov. Right place at the right time and a nice clear picture. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks to my friend, Van Russel, for this pic! He wanted this uploaded.
