Description:

This clouded mother-of-pearl was spotted in a garden in the Tanzanian capital Dar es Salaam. This species of Nymphalidae is found in tropical Africa.

Habitat:

In a large garden area near the sea. During a one week stay in Dar I saw these butterflies everyday.

Welcome... This butterfly give me idea of Nymphalidae family's wide variety. They are memorable with four legs type appearance..
