Field Notes

Description:

This genus is native across southeast Asia from the Himalayan mountains to the the Philippines, New Guinea and northern Australia. Only one species, P. amabilis var. papuana is found wild in Papua New Guinea and is not the species of this spotting.

Habitat:

Epiphyte. This spotting located in a semi-urban yard/garden. Not growing wild in this photo.

Notes:

It is not known if this specimen is a hybrid.
