made me laugh ! - what a creature - fantastic camouflage . You must have some amazing creatures in your part of the world.
Thank you Craig, it's really very different and cool !
Jumps straight to the top of the coolest spider in the world for me, amongst some very strong competition! Thank you!!
Am I the only one here who thinks this looks a lot like some character from the Muppet Show (when seen in profile)? :-)

Spotting of the day! "Check out the great video of this bark mimicking orb-weaver. Known as the Tree-Stump Spider, they're camouflaged in a surprising way with their plant host." http://facebook.com/projectnoah/posts/254375027926917 http://twitter.com/projectnoah/status/109273576884023296
Ok Jonathan, I will keep looking the place. It´s in my garden so it´s easy to observe.
Thanks I ask a friend for possible G ssp, and ask about it. If you see the spider again, look for a web, just in case, It could be that it doesn´t make one , and that is what my friends want to know.
Hi Jonathan, No, it was immobile in the stick of a hibisco. I didn´t see any web.
Ok, but since I took this pictures I haven´t seen it again.
Rubens...please let me know when you find one like these...I want to see in loco !!!
An amazing series of photos! Just wonderful
