Description:

American wild Clematis growing in a cascade down the rocks in front of my house. Perennial vine to 10 ft long. Leaves Opposite - 3 toothed, ovate leaflets. - Studied by Charles Darwin who found the plant rotated full circle every 5 to 6 hours until it finds an object to cling to. (called Thigmotropism).
