Field Notes

Description:

Bright red-orange multiple flower heads and large leaves. Native of tropical Africa. Sometimes called the Bag flower.

Habitat:

Does well in full sun and undernourished soil (sand). Very prominent in my Butterfly garden at this time of the year.

Notes:

Gives the birds good coverage near the bird bath.
