Field Notes

Description:

Common alligator lizard found sunning itself on a rock & cooperating with the photographer.

Notes:

You don't want to get one of these in the house (we've had 3 come in). They will try to bite you when you pick them up. Since they are reported to have teeth, I don't recommend this. There's a reason why they are called "alligator" lizard!
