Description:

The Patagonean Cavy seems to have the ears of a rabbit and the body of a small deer. Overall, it is somewhat reminiscent of a jackrabbit. When in a hurry, it bounces using all 4 limbs at once. Young are raised communally in burrows. Spotted in Disney's Animal Kingdom,

Habitat:

Argentina. Forest and creosote bush.
