Description:
Found at the base of the Eagle Lake Trail in Morehead, KY.
The American Holly is a medium-sized, broad-leaved evergreen tree. It usually grows 10-20 meters high. It possesses alternate leaves, usually grows on the understory trees, and is a flowering plant.
Habitat:
Deciduous forest
