dandoucette.. yep.. that is an amazing book!
I saw some near Perth: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/5417258 They're notable for the lack of leaves.
An amazing book for the area is Wildflowers of Southern Western Australia by Margaret G. Corrick and Bruce A. Fuhrer.
