Spotting of the day! "The endangered African wild dog is a highly intelligent and social animal and each one bears its own unique coat pattern." http://facebook.com/projectnoah/posts/264969773527075 http://twitter.com/projectnoah/status/107620031810113536
I studied for a semester in Kruger, and it was definitely a luxury. This was the only time I saw wild dogs, though.
As per my wildlife knowledge, such Wild Dogs are best hunters. They target and hunt anyone very trickily...!!
I don't feel so bad now if it took you 2 months to spot them. I can understand your excitement.
Thanks so much! They're definitely elusive. It took me nearly two months in Kruger to find wild dogs...I was in a bit of a daze for the rest of the day, I was so excited. A very lucky spotting. Keep trying and better luck next time!
WOW! So lucky to see these! I've tried hard to see these over 3 separate trips to Africa but with no luck. Very nice!
