Description:

Eastern Grey Squirrel having a snack (no, I have not figured out what it was) in a pine tree. This squirrel resides in a nature habitat area on a college campus.

Habitat:

Spotted in a wetlands area in the tropical south. The tree is right next to a small freshwater pond. A forested area is nearby.

Hello, Sarah! Great photo's, thanks for the information and for posting! I have seen a squirrel shuck a pine cone and eat the pine nuts so maybe he is having a pine nut!!
