Description:

Unmistakable. Mostly green, paler and yellower bellow, with purple and black head. Bright yellow outer tail feathers.

Habitat:

Texas only. this gaudy tropical jay is common in riverside woods, parks and dry bushland of southern Texas.

green jays are one of my favorite birds!!! there is a flock in my village and in my neighborhood! very noisy! but i appreciate their presence! my gandpa had four for about two years, but released as i adviced him they'd be better free!!!
I have never seen one before, had to look it up in my Bird Book. Cool!
