Field Notes

Description:

Male clubtails have an enlarged area at the end of the abdomen. They are black, brown, or green and have yellow patternedclear wings. The have small eyes that are widely separated and sprawling legs. These insects are hard to find because they are so well camouflaged. The females look much like the males but are often yellow where the males are green. Clubtails live near rivers and streams. Males perch on the ground or on rocks. Males can sometimes be found on the beach in sunlit areas. Females are more often found perching on vegetation.

Thnnxx buddy....actually i m not that much expert on spottings...thnxx for the suggestion...i'll try to find out the actuall name,,, :)
Not a clubtail, those have separated eyes (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gomphidae), and you also write so yourself in the description. This one clearly has its eyes touch each other. Looks to me like a Sympetrum species.
You are welcome.. I am looking forward to seeing some more spottings from you!
Thnnxx Chirstiane.... I've just joined project noah... Thnnxx for the appreciation :)
