Description:

Dead cicada. This is the third one that has decided to come to my deck to die.

Notes:

We have alot of cicadas in our yard this year.

Good images help us delineate ranges and geographic tendencies among cicada populations. Please continue taking pic's. You did a wonderful job including multiple angles. Dorsal & ventral images serve best, but lateral pic's also aid in id. Cheers, bill

Yeah - the ground gets littered with cicada bodies here in MN this time every year. At least that means it will get a little less noisy soon. Man, those things are loud!
