Description:

Small, length 1.5-2cm. I think it's a praying mantid nymph, especially as I spotted a grown mantid in the same area. I've seen a few of these around, in different areas where I work, but this is the first time I've been able to get a photo. They are always very fast and very defensive, as you can see. The third photo isn't too clear, but there are distinctive markings on its back.
