I think is good enough for such dangerous snake!
No, it was at daylight. The guy that was with me thought it was a dead branch in the ground, and almost stepped over it. My camera didn't have a good tele, and I wasn't very anxious to get near it, that's why the picture is not good. We got a branch ( a real one...) and pushed it to the wood again.
Yes Sergio, It's one of the largest snakes in the genus Bothrops. A beautiful and dangerous snake!
