Yes definitely a Turkey Vulture 100% sure. The shape of the head and neck of the black's is different, not just the color.
The neck of the bird is too feathered for it to be a black vulture. Definitely juv. Turkey Vulture
Thank you all for your comments but I was under the impression it was a juvenile black vulture.
between the light colored head, the shape of the body, and the overall brownish (more than blackish) coloration I think juvie Turkey Vulture is the correct ID
I didn't think the head looked bright enough to be a Turkey Vulture, is this maybe a juvenile that hasn't developed the brighter colours yet?
Well I don't know but I just meant the color, in first photo it seems all black, infect in the second looks little diffrent
That's a Turkey Vulture, not a Black Vulture.
That's cool, black birds scares me a little for the color, but they are fantastic! Great Christopher and say hello to the hole Texas that I love so much :-)
