Description:

I believe of the sphingidae family but unsure of the genus.

Notes:

I have had this one and a Pandora sphinx moth show up on these flowers in my yard the last few nights. Very beautiful creatures.

Also called Carolina Sphinx, the six yellow/orange spots on the abdomen are a giveaway. Nice image.
