Description:

Spotted in Chattanooga, TN. However, pretty sure I saw a similar (or the same?) species in Sydney, Australia.

Habitat:

edges of landscaping, forests, tall grass.

My parents have sweet pea growing along a fence (Pennsylvania). It's not invasive - it doesn't grow that quickly and doesn't really spread. It does drop seed so it returns every year but in our experience it has stayed in one spot.
