Description:

Spotted this hover fly in my garden on a fennel blossom. Now that I know they are not bees, I see them in my garden all the time.

Habitat:

Urban veggie garden.

Lucky you, because I have decided we do not have them in Florida. That are not listed in my Florida Insect book. Good picture.
