Field Notes

Description:

Tall sparse green grass with pink seed heads on top. There are two to six heads on the top of each grass shoot. Blades of grass are wide that taper to a point at the base of the plant. Invasive grass that's hard to get rid of!

Habitat:

Full sun on hillside with regular watering in backyard near ground cover and rocks.
