Description:

The largest one was the width of a large Dinner plate, the largest mushroom I have ever seen around here! I wanted to get closer to put a ruler next to it but it was surrounded by Poison Ivy.

Habitat:

Woods

Species ID Suggestions

Collybia maculata

Rhodocollybia maculata

These mushrooms were large, the species suggestion indicates small to medium mushroom, these were surely not even close to small!
I would recommend Lepista nebularis... but too light in color...
Wow; the green of leaves and the mushroom's complimentary white really make this a great shot!! :)
