Description:

Iguanidae and is native to Mexico and Central America. The species range in size from about 5 inches to well over one meter. Iguanas feed on fruits, flowers, foliage, and small animals. Some members of this genus are popular as pets.

Habitat:

Iguana habitat in wild generally spans across the tropical areas, with green iguanas inhabiting the tropical rainforests of South America.
