Description:
The Horse Mint is very variable herbaceous perennial plant; when rubbed, all parts of the plant produce a nice mint-scented aroma. Some 40cm tall, it has long and narrow leaves, greyish above. Flowers are packed in dense clusters on branched terminal spikes. It usually grows in massifs or large colonies, spread via rhizomes.

Here, seen in a meadow on banks of a stream, rural area.
Notes:
Often used as fortifying tonics and herbal teas; for a variety of troubles (digestions, sore throat, headaches)... The herbal tea is actually very tasty! And it can also be used as spice, herbs or in salads.
