Field Notes

Description:

Pale yellow and black bird that was quite entertaining to watch searching for food. It hopped all around and on bushes while keeping an eye on me. It doesn't have the red on the head which gives it the common name. This species is migrating south for the winter.
I didn't even look to see what my camera settings were so sorry they're so overexposed.

Chaparral
