Thanks!! Basically there has been hardly any serious study on jumping spiders of Bangladesh. There are references of some studies on spiders but almost none on jumping spiders. So far only 4 species have been recorded and mentioned officially. I have taken an initiative to archive as much as I can and then I might approach some of our local universities to come forward with a research project on this. I have received some appreciation here for working on this for such a long time but nothing serious yet. If I am to assume, I would say it won't be any less than 500 sp. Its a wild guess and the fact might well be far from this count.
Awesome shot as always! How species of jumping spider are there approximately in Bangladesh?
