Thanks again venusflytrap! :) We haven't seen another one of these for awhile either… :(
The problem is, Asish, I've been given another ID by an entomologist...
This is very good... spotting...hope you update Eric's ID....!!
Haha, Eric, I think our house/balcony is some kind of 'moth trap'! Just wish I could take good photos of the birds around here... But they move too fast for me!! :-}
Envy the variety of moths you have there :)
Anna Eric is correct... Please update with his accurate suggestion..!! http://www.boldsystems.org/views/taxbrowser.php?taxid=18038
Its like Underwing type hawk moth... Say Elephant hawk moth.
I thought it might be a Tersa Sphinx
 Moth (Xylophanes tersa), but this one has stripy underwings rather than the red ones of this spotting. Or can the Tersa Sphinx have different kinds of underwings...?
Thanks Eric! The Vine Hawk Moth has that red underwing, but isn't it usually more stripy than this spotting? (Am not a moth expert! Only going off what I see on the internet.)
