Field Notes

Habitat:

pond on Mt Diablo.

Notes:

under a tree, near the pond ,are hundreds of these amphibians hopping around. Too cute. The ranger told me that it is a mixture of toads, tree frogs and red legged frogs. Since these are so little it would be difficult to differentiate between a tree frog and a red legged frog. The legs turn red in adulthood.
