Could be Mitch : http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Boat-tailed_Grackle/id I had a problem with eye color - but they suggest a variant.

Looks like a Boat-tailed Grackle to me.

Thank You, Mick!! There also were some brown looking birds in the parking lot, they may have migrated. I have not seen them before. Shorter tails.

Maybe Shiny Cowbird (eye) but unhappy with beak?
