Description:

This little flower is extremely common in our area. Although frequently maligned as a weed, it is quite pretty, occurring in both white and pink varieties throughout the summer. Also known as Soldier's Woundwort, Yarrow has been regarded as a medicinal herb throughout history, and its properties figure in a number of world myths and legends.

I had wondered if we would get a Yarrow picture soon. I used to see it in Northern Indiana. Thanks.
