Field Notes

Habitat:

Native to temperate regions of Europe, northern Africa and Asia, with the highest species diversity in the Mediterranean region. Fields, prairie, etc. These seem to be annually planted in this park's wildflowers field.

Notes:

A variety of wildflowers dominated by many varieties (or species) to Toadflax. Including, I believe, Pale toadflax (Linaria repens) photo #2 and Moroccan toadflax (Linaria maroccana) photo #3. Unsure if photo #4 is Common toadflax (L. vulgaris) or some other yellow variety.
