Description:

Brown with occasionally grey color, bucks have antlers that are lost during the summer. When alarmed they display their white flag, tail, Smaller than an elk and not as verbal.

Habitat:

Woodlands, farm fields.

Notes:

This buck and doe are a breeding pair. It is the breeding season and observing the buck it is apparent that she is ready for breeding.

Nice set of pictures, just a small correction. Bucks will generally shed their antlers in winter after the breeding season. By summer they are already regrowing a new set.
