Field Notes

Description:

This moth has been evading me for days. Everytime I see this very bright orange coloured moth it would zoom past me and settles somewhere far. When I reach around that area i dont see anything. It's like it had vanished in the thin air. Finally when i spotted it again today i could see the exact place it had settled like under the leaf or base of stem. It had a wonderful camouflage, when it settled the bright orange colour was completely hidden and that's why I couldn't find it before.
