Description:

It is an interesting site, when i first saw it i thought it was a wolf spider burrow but then after opening that burrow i saw an empty cocoon shell of an true armyworm.The spotting was a first for me because usually they make their cocoons under ground without making a entrance and a burrow but i guess i was wrong.

Habitat:

I found it under an old wood plank.

Notes:

Freshly hatched due to the meconium that was found in the burrow.Meconium is the excess liquid that is produced after the leftover food is in the cocoon.
