Looks more like a Mica Cap than a Fairy Bonnet
Gina, nice to see you back! Been missing your fungal expertise! Can you take a look at this spotting? http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/7233118
They can be called Coprinellus disseminatus or Coprinus disseminatus. You decide. :-)
no problem ( as long as it isn't in names). i was a little bit confused: i know this fam. as coprinus. but since projekt noah , i look in the internet too. but there were ---> coprinellus (since 2001 renamed) AND then , you came with caprinus--- i was upsidedown. what now !!! :) but now is all alright. thanks gina ^^
pardon me i don't even look at spellings lol..... my fault again. Coprinus ti is. Yeah as long we agree on "C" :-))
is it now (only the spelling, not the mushroom) : coprinus (so stand it in my books) ---- coprinellus (so in the internet, since 2001 renamed) -- or caprinus (???) . At least we are agree about C. disseminatus !!! lol thanks -- at the moment of the spotting: i thought mycena/ at home: marasmiellus/ & then again mycena/ now i finally go to coprinellus.
Hi Alex you're not the only one lol..., its my fault I gave you mycena to start with sorry. It should be caprinus. Pls try caprinus disseminatus.
gina- i doub again, what du you think : mycena hiemalis or coprinus disseminatus ( http://www.google.nl/search?um=1&hl=nl&safe=off&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=AdtrTqenKImj-gbuupDkBA&ved=0CDkQvwUoAQ&q=coprinus+disseminatus&spell=1&biw=1108&bih=576 ). please give a suggestion !! i will get crazy from this mushroom :)
gina you're right, as is said, i thought also it's a mycena. after digging out my other older books, i have found the right one (i hope so) --thanks
i thought also, it schould be a mycena, but i could not find any picture, wich look close enough to say "yes, that is it". Therefore i searched for my book from "mushroom from nederland" and that was the best suggestion, i had. but i will re-reseach. thanks
I think this is commonly called Fairy bonnet mushrooms. Marasmiellus rotula does not grow in clusters like this. I believed this mycena mushrooms.
