Field Notes

Description:

Large flat brown dry cas about 100 mm wide. Gills were white. This furiting body had a short sturdy white stipe.

Habitat:

Seen growing along with a couple of others at the base of a eucalyptus tree - Baluk Willam Nature Conservation Reserve. <br> Common in the Southern parts of Australia.

Notes:

These are quite common at base of gum trees. <br> Family: Tricholomataceae
