Description:

A sheltopusik at the Sedgwick Zoo. These are interesting creatures. Reaching lengths up to four feet. They tend to respond to harassment by hissing, biting, and musking. Despite their unusual appearance they're common in the pet trade and can even be trade to take food from their keeper's hands.

Habitat:

Southern Europe to Central Asia.
