They used to trick me into thinking Mycena too. And the common name being Fairy's Bonnets highlights the resemblance as 'Bonnet' is usually reserved for Mycena species. The clue comes when they mature and start dropping black spores all over each other - Mycena spores are white. Surprising for such a white mushroom with white gills for most of its life.
