Field Notes

Description:

Green and brown worm ranging from 3.5mm to 5cm long. They hold onto the leaves with their rear legs and stand erect. When moving, they bring their rear end forward creating an arch with the body then move their front end forward. They can hang from a silk thread.

Habitat:

Bougainvillea plant

Notes:

Video shows movement of both a tiny and large worm.
