Wildlife Spotting

Please look at the stigma closely and you will see that it has the bifid structure of a Calystegia , no Ipomoea has this bifid stigma structure and there may have been some heart leaves in the area , but this species has arrow shaped leaves and can be evidenced by the leaf in the upper left corner of the photo. The spent bloom upper left of the flower shows the large secondary bracts which are characteristic of Calystegia sepium, but not of any temperate climate Ipomoea species. I am very familiar with the species shown and know all of the parts very well.
