Field Notes

Description:

Small brown bat, only about 2.5" long, most likely a juvenile. Brown furry body with darker ears and appendages.

Habitat:

Found napping in the corner at the entrance to the women's restroom at the chatfield marina. It stayed there for most of the day, which was surprising since it was a really busy area and getting quite a lot of sunlight.
