Description:

Growing in my front yard garden, this periwinkle makes a nice, dark green ground cover with small bluish-purple flowers. The plants have suffered some set backs in the past 2 severe NJ winters.

Habitat:

Periwinkle performs best in U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 7 and 9. In U.S. Department of Agriculture plant hardiness zones 6 and below, periwinkle should be brought indoors before the first fall frost.
