Field Notes

Description:

The flowers are rather small and easily unnoticed, but the Fruit makes a real statement and Fall is berry time for the birds.

Habitat:

My garden, planted by the birds, not me. Will spring up the most unexpected places. Has a mild pleasant odor.

Notes:

Not long ago walkilng in the garden, I scared two young Mockingbirds eating the berries, so now I go on quieter feet.
