I agree. I think you nailed it.
Thanks for the help! I think it is a Dolomedes species after looking into it more.
My gut tells me it's fishing spider. My concern is that FL is subtropical and I'm less sure of the climate. You can try uploading it to BugGuide. They are an excellent resource. http://bugguide.net/node/view/1954/bgimage
