Thick bodied. Large rounded head. Query on name as not positive on my identification.

Habitat:

Most places but this one seen in open dry bushland.

Hi Mel. Nice shot. You are correct in your ID. There are only 41 different species of snake in The Gambia and the Puff Adder isn't likely to be confused with any of the other 8 venomous species. Thanks for sharing.
