Description:
Tall plant, some 1m to 1,20 tall; with deeply lobbed leaves and pale-blue to whitish flower heads. Flowers about 1cm or a bit less across; flower head around 10cm.
Habitat:
A field, usually used for wheat, was abandoned last winter and sold to housing developers - and this is what came out just before they started destroying everything. Outskirts of a small border town, rural zone, suburbs of Geneva.
Notes:
Found on an abandoned agricultural field (actually not abandoned, rather taken away for urban development...), I at first thought it was some sort of native plant... It came out it was not, as Phacelia originating from south US, is used as cover crop and fertiliser; it's also an excellent melliferous plant.
