Oh, and I didn't see the other photos until now, but they are definitely Carolina Anoles!! Have fun! They're very neat creatures!
I believe that it is a juvenile, or stressed, Carolina Anole. They often turn to brown when stressed, or threatened, and juveniles aren't as pigmented as the adults (as seen in the Wikepedia link's picture of a juvenile male anole.) I hope this helps!!
